This is the largest reconstruction in the modern history of Pilsen's municipal transport companies, which took place under full operation. The passage halls of the new depot are 124 metres long and can accommodate up to 52 cars 33 metres long and 7 cars 15 metres long. Our company provided the lighting control system and the central battery system with emergency lighting.
The tram depot had been in its original state since 1943 and was no longer suitable in terms of capacity and quality. In addition to being fully functional, the renovated building has a positive environmental impact – thanks to its 13,500 m2 green roof and rainwater retention system, it uses rainwater to wash trams and irrigate the greenery. However, green roofs have fewer skylights, so the hall was illuminated with energy-saving LED lights.
For this reference, our company provided a lighting control system and a central battery system with emergency lighting. We installed a DALI lighting control system, specifically IMAGINE Helvar DALI routers. For central monitoring and control, a lighting system visualisation was tailored to this project. This included automatic fault reports, energy consumption monitoring and automatic event scheduling. Remote access for service and programming is provided via WEBserver. As part of the emergency lighting system with a central battery, our company supplied a central battery system including pictogram exit LED luminaires, where we monitor almost 700 emergency luminaires in three buildings including the administrative part.
