Montessori Preschool in Prague
It is the first Czech educational institution that has decided to take advantage of the advantages of natural lighting Human Centric Lighting. It is no coincidence that this is an institution that focuses on Montessori education, the principle of which is to provide children with a natural environment in which they can work and develop independently.
During the renovation of the school in stages during 2017, seven classrooms were gradually equipped with new LED luminaires SANT with tuneable white technology from Halla, whose light is automatically adjusted thanks to the Helvar lighting control system. The system works here both as a means of achieving energy savings through daylight control and to ensure the optimum chromaticity temperature for the various activities during the day. The installed multisensor measures the amount of daylight and thus maintains a constant level of illumination depending on the availability of daylight, thus guaranteeing energy savings. The lighting is controlled by Helvar Select The Weather push-button panels with easy scene selection and a dynamic scene to support the body's circadian rhythm.
DNA CENTRAL EUROPE, Ltd. and Halla donated the Helvar technology and luminaires to the school as a sponsorship gift, with the understanding that together they will address the impact and influence of lighting quality as part of the Human Centric Lighting concept.
